Distance Traveled 3585 KM Flying
Distance Traveled 26 KM to Hotel
Total Distance Traveled Today 3866 KM

So after being summoned I go home back an overnight bag and drive from Home to Gatwick Airport.
At the Checking Desk I was Told that they couldn't get me on a direct flight so i had to go via Athens, which was OK (i later found out that I should have flown Business Class !).
I met the man from the F&C Office and he explained that he would escort me everywhere in the Embassy and told me i was booked into the Hilton and should get a cab to the Embassy in Israel and be there for 09:00. He then said he would meet me at the Embassy at that time as he was on a different flight.
I made my way to the departure lounge and sat and waited (it was a couple of hours before I would embark) To my surprise and lots of secret laughter Placebo ( A Band I quite liked were on the same flight travelling to Greece for a Festival) were on the same flight and not behaving very well :-)
I think there had been quite a few drinks, eventually after numerous warnings they settled down and behaved themselves.
The flight to Greece was Ok as was the next flight to Tel Aviv.
I got into Israel at about 21:00 and as instructed stopped boarder control stamping my passport ( If they had I would be denied access to other middle eastern countries as they do not recognize the state of Israel ).
A Taxi to the Hotel (Which is literally on the beach) and straight to bed after a long day travelling and to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for work in the morning.

Here's a Clip of Placebo :-)
